Just wanted to let you know that I just received my shipment of Kronoswiss Montana Oak Laminate. I ordered this product sight unseen just from the picture on the internet and wanted to let you know how happy I am with your service and with the product itself. The picture provided on the internet is very realistic and I had no surprises when the flooring was delivered. Of course I haven't had time to install the floor but have laid out several pieces and am quite satisfied with the realistic look of the laminate. As I side note just wanted you to know that my flooring was delivered by Con-Way and that I was very pleased with their service also. The called when you said they would, they made the delivery on time and the driver was polite and considerate even moving our boxes of laminate into the shade for us. We really appreciate your professionalism. Your customer service is excellent. Hello: Installed the Balta V-Groove flooring I purchased from you on 9/12 - it's beautiful and we have received many compliments. It took me only 7 hrs. to complete an area of 210 sq. ft.(11 boxes). If I might add, two weeks prior I had a coronary stent procedure (3 this year) and I was advised to "take it easy". I took my time and again, it took only 7 hrs. I had installed Formica Laminate and Quick-Step Laminate in other rooms in our house. In addition, I assisted two friends installing Pergo. Without a doubt, the Balta far surpasses these. You were so easy to work with and so accommodating in terms of providing samples to make our choice, that I felt it necessary to share the final product with you. I'd like to say that the installation was a snap, however, I didn't install it. We had a local contractor that helped us with the rest of the basement do the installation. However, his comments both on the quality of the product and the ease of installation were most positive. He may have already been back to you for more flooring by now, but I haven't heard from him about it. Attached are just a couple of photos of the new floor for The Annapolis Dance Academy in Maryland. The studio resides in our basement, and is just under 800 SF of floor space. We had some issues with the concrete basement floor that included both some water issues and some leveling problems. However, we built up a sub floor on 1x4's spaced about 16" apart and placed a sound dampening material in-between them, and then laid 5/8" waferboard down to create some additional cushion. A vapor barrier/padding material was then used to protect the flooring from the weather change elements and the laminate was placed on top of that. As you can see, we created our own moldings and trim only because of the perception that something a little taller than most trim would benefit us due to the use of tap shoes in the area. We have had nothing but positive comments on the floor. Some folks have even said that their legs felt better, after walking around on it a while and feeling the cushion of the laminate and the sub floor working together. My wife (and owner of the studio) had said that her knees feel 100% better than before because of the give in the floor that cushions her step. She spend on average about 20-25 hours a week dancing and instructing on that floor and she continues to sing its praises. As for noise (this is my department), I have to say that even 10 adolescent girls in tap shoes is not an obtrusive sound when compared to the sound of the "raging herd of buffalo" that I endured prior to the floors' installation. You can see in the photos, there is not much to dampen sound on the walls, and the ceiling is drywall which bounces sound around as well. These factors are mitigated greatly by the dampening effect of the flooring. From the bottom of my ears and my heart, I thank you. In closing, I'd just like to say that making a purchase of this magnitude through an online source and without ever entering a "showroom" was a bit of a scary experience in the outset. However, the service you provide, the kind and responsive nature of your staff, and the extraordinary product you are marketing, have made a believer out of me in one solid thing: Deal with good people, and you won't be lead astray. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience we have had with both your company and the product we selected from you. When I ordered the flooring I was a little concerned because I had never worked with a laminate floor product before and wasn't really sure what I was getting into. We needed to replace the flooring in our dining room, kitchen and foyer. I was happily surprised to see how quickly my order arrived at my house and equally pleased with the kindness of the delivery man. We got started on the flooring that Sunday and finished it up in the evening during the week, the we had about a 220 square foot surface to cover. It was amazing how quickly it went down the difference in the appearance is stunning. Everyone has commented on how lovely it looks. We actually covered an old wooden floor with the laminate and although it sounded like a crazy thing to do it was the best decision. The wooden floor was in disrepair and had been patched with aluminum. It was noisy to walk on and felt nasty on your feet. The new floor is much quieter, softer to walk on and it is a snap to clean up. I would recommend this product to anyone. We are considering using it in an additional room in our house.
This email is to let you know that I finally had a chance to finish the stairs. The Kronoswiss laminate is SUPERB. I did one 10x11 room and the stairs and to be honest, the Kronoswiss was a pleasure to work with. I never installed laminate floor in my life, and I was a bit scared at first, but your support and above all the quality of the material, made me go for it. The shipment was on time and everything was packed well. Installing the laminate on the bedroom, was very fast, since the locking mechanism is great, much easier and less complicated. Also, another thing that stands out, is the forgiveness of the material. For me, that did not had any installation experience what so ever, the material is very strong, so I can make minor mistakes and still managed to correct them. The stairs was the biggest challenge. Everybody told me that even for professional installers, the stairs was always a challenge. But Mike and his team made it look fairly easy, so I went for it. I remember calling Mike at almost 12PM EST, for some initial questions about the stairs....thank you Mike, your initial and post comments and help, made possible for me to deliver this kind of results. The Kronoswiss for Stairs is the best....since its almost 9mm, the steps feels and looks solid and stronger. I received many compliments from even installers and they were amaze about the material....you should be getting lots of calls. I am a very detailed person, always researching for quality priced materials and products, and for those people looking for a great laminate and a good price, this is the ONE. Don't look any further. Hello to you at Heidemann Flooring! Well I finally completed my floors. My wife and I are very happy with your product and how it turned out. It was all white berber carpet before. The Entertainment center was a 5 foot closet which I changed and opened a five foot closet in the hall instead. Everyone is amazed by how different the house looks. They say the rooms are so much bigger looking. I was pleased with your calculations. I ended up with approximately a box of scrap, one T mold and one cove mold. Thank you, Michael J.
